For the assembling of our bigger gearboxes we have recently installed a brand new Dalmec lifting solution. Dalmec supplies its lifting solutions to all kinds of industries where heavy loads needs to be lifted for easy assembling. The Dalmec lifting solutions are also being used in the Ferrari assembling lines in Italy!
If it is good for Ferrari than it is good for us! From now our technician can lift our heavy gearboxes (up to 100 Kg) with the force of only a few grams…. They can easily be lifted and positioned under our hydraulic presses for assembling the gears. When not under the press the gearbox can easily have a free float and allows the mechanics to continue their job.
